I figure the best way to improve air quality is to plant trees. Bhutan has become a carbon negative country by their tree planting program. Several weeks ago a woman was giving away trees she had started as part of her carbon sequestering program. I picked up several of these trees, will be planting them in my yard and giving away the rest to advocates of tree planting.
