Introduction

We rush through our days and curse the things that get in the way. It's a battle and sometimes it seems like we win but oftentimes we lose, getting snagged by the debris and give up, dejected in our lack of control of reality. I would like to suggest a better approach to the time dilemma.

WHAT'S IN THE WAY IS THE WAY

Snags are the way the universe brings attention to the necessary lessons of our life. Typically, when you and I encounter snags, we want to rush right through them. But like a river, the universe has it's own flow and will not be diverted easily. Usually if we stand in its way it will simply flow around our resistance.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

By affirming we have enough time we can luxuriously experience the universe's necessary diversions which, as it turns out, makes the flow of time more productive in the long run.

HERE'S THE HACK

Allow the question “How is there enough time?” to synchronize with your beating heart. It might take some practice but entraining an affirmation to your physical heart is a good way to embody your intention and slow down enough to embrace the snags before you.

Conclusion

A friend of mine once uttered a very pithy statement: “The universe is conspiring to wake us up”. How does the universe do this? By creating events in our lives that challenge our stasis. Of course this could rub us the wrong way in the moment, but if we can both focus and soften we may see that the “curse” is actually a “gift" and from this shift in perspective big change can happen. How are you creating enough time in your life?
